At only 15-years-old, Bob weighed a staggering 320 lbs. Later, that number would grow to 385 lbs. as Bob entered the world of professional sumo wrestling in Japan. During his successful 15-year career, he competed at the highest levels and was even recruited for movies and commercials where there were acting roles calling for a very large sumo wrestler.

Years later, with his wrestling days behind him, Bob’s body still maintained the same heavy weight despite his working out regularly. It wasn’t long until he began to worry about what effect it was having on his long-term health. His family history of diabetes had him particularly concerned.
